PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival
In February I was contacted and asked if I could provide a few pairs of handcrafted shoes for the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival Closing Runway - of course I said YES!
PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival is an annual event and features 10 days of world class runways featuring an array of amazing designers. The designer line-up for the Closing Runway included Carla Zampatti, Romance Was Born, Mariam Seddiq, Paolo Sebastian, Strateas Carlucci, Jason Grech, Cappellazzo, Leo Lin and Myami.
Given that all my shoes are made-to-order, this only gave me a few weeks to make everything, which was a touch stressful, but in the end everything was created in time. My work ended up being paired with beautiful dresses by Leo Lin, styled by David Norman Bonney and assisted by Huw Ward.
